A week on the Baltic coast
We took the slow way: train to Kaliningrad, then a bus up the Curonian Spit and the ferry across to Klaipėda. The dunes near Nida are worth the detour even in wind.
Practical: bring cash for the small cafés, and book the ferry the day before in July.
